Ahh we made it to FRIDAY!! Yay 🙂 How are you guys?! Today I wanted to share a very highly requested hair inspo post. Having short hair has been so much fun lately… PLUS you can do some spunky hairstyles with it. Sharing my four most-used summer hairstyles today with y’all!

1. Low bun with framed pieces out & hair scarf

This hairstyle takes .2 seconds to do. With short hair, it’s hard to do a top knot so opt for the low bun! Just pull back to a (funny looking) low bun and pull out a few framed hair pieces around your face. Throw on a silky hair scarf for an extra accessory. This hairstyle is perfect for hot summer nights when you don’t want your hair on your neck.

2. Two low pigtails twisted back with headband

The hairstyle for a really spunky look! Start by sectioning off your hair into two sections. Twist back one side and then secure the rest of your hair with a plastic band. Then do the other side. Add in a woven headband to really make the look. This hairstyle adds an extra twist to the typical “pigtail” look.

3. Half up, half down scrunchie

My most-worn summer hairstyle for short hair. Like I mentioned above, you can’t really do top-knots with short hair but you CAN do a half up top knot. I take the top section and pull it up into a scrunchie and then tug on my hair to adjust the bun. You can wave your hair, curl it, or wear natural. Another spunky and cute hairstyle.

4. Half up inverted pony

I’ve been wearing this hairstyle for date nights/ dinners lately. It’s the easiest thing ever but you look like you have a cool half up hair-do. Section the top half and pull it back into a pony. Split the hair and pull the pony up and through the hair. That’s it! It creates this twisted back pony look and is just too easy. I’m all about keeping half of my hair out of my face and off my neck this summer!

Let me know if you guys try any of these hairstyles- and tag me so I can repost! Thanks so much for reading and wish you guys the best weekend ahead. XO!
