Happy July 1st y’all!! I LOVE July. It just screams summer to me and I also always plan my most fun trips during this month. July holds two more trips, gathering decorations for my house I move into in August, and reuniting with family members I haven’t seen in 6 years! You could say I’m ecstatic 😉
Anyone else beyond ready for this holiday weekend!? I can’t wait for a weekend of relaxation, grilling out, pool time, and sporting my red, white, and blue 🙂
I wanted to give y’all an idea of exactly what I’ll be wearing on Monday! I love a good easy breezy dress and this one from Nordstrom/ Missguided is perfect for the occasion. Some of y’all will probably be in the pool or on the lake (jealous!) so you’ll be sporting your red, white, and blue bikinis/cover ups. This dress is a perfect summertime dress though and under $100. The back actually criss crosses or you can untie it and wear it as a halter dress. I paired my red cowboy boots for that ‘texas’ touch and because I really wanted to wear them for these photos lol! It just screams “I’m a texan and it’s summer” lol. My clutch is a little pricey but seriously so cute.
I wanted to talk about how I got this adorable dress for a second. One of my sorority sisters recently graduated and is working at Trunk Club in Dallas. I got to try out Trunk Club and get my first ‘trunk’ through her. They send you a whole box of things that they hand pick for you and your style and you get to try everything on (free of charge) and whatever you decide to keep you pay for, and you return the rest. Such a fabulous way to try on different pieces and change up your wardrobe. I kept this dress from my trunk because I just loved it so much. If y’all are interested in getting your own trunk and trying this service out, I most definitely recommend Jillian. You can click here to sign up with her as your stylist or email her at email@example.com. 🙂
Hope y’all have a SAFE and FUN holiday weekend ahead and thanks for reading xoxo
