One of the main requests I get from you girls are work outfits. Y’all know I work a full time job outside of my blog and have to dress up. When I’ve shared work wear posts before, they’re typically a little dressier. Well…. I had a couple of y’all reach out to me and say that you would love for me to share more casual work wear looks since your office is more casual. I seriously smiled because so is mine! Well…. some days I’m in heels and a dress for client meetings and other days I’m in a t-shirt and jeans with no makeup lol. It really depends!
My day-to-day work wear is typically always jeans and a cute tee or easy blouse with flats. That’s what the other girls in my office wear as well. I put together some looks recently to round up some different casual ideas for y’all to wear. I also made them a bit more fall inspired since we have entered September and most offices are a little chilly.
Outfit 1: Meetings Day
This outfit is perfect for a casual work environment. This is the most put together look so I would definitely wear this to a casual meeting or lunch out with your office. I always invest in a few good white blouses and love how this one has flutter sleeves. I layered it with a long cardigan (only $30) and these are CRUCIAL for your fall office wardrobe. Super easy to layer with everything! Personally, I think dark denim looks best on anyone and also looks more sleek in the office. You could easily change the jeans out for dress pants or chinos if these are too casual. Lastly, my mules are probably my MOST worn item from work to meetings to casual weekends.
Outfit 2: Casual Friday
The easiest, most casual look. This is the outfit I grab on a lazy day that I know we have no meetings, Skype calls, or really anything other than desk work. I love a good comfy tee (on sale for $18) and these paperbag shorts are almost always accepted at most work places. Now, I definitely can’t wear jean shorts, but these are appropriate for anything! I typically just slip on a sandal as I’m running out the door as well.
Outfit 3: Sassy but Comfy
Want to make a statement in your casual environment without being too dressy? This is your look. You can never go wrong with a sleek all black look which I did with a plain tee and the comfiest joggers. My joggers are great because the material isn’t that lounge material you wear around home, it’s almost like a cargo material. I made this more of a statement with a simple leopard cardigan. As you can see, I also wrap it around my waist for now while it’s hot out.
Outfit 4: Everyday Appropriate Look
Simple, easy, comfy, and accepted in all casual work environments. I grabbed this new plaid shirt the other week and bought it in a large for the oversized, cozy look. Paired another white tee, my typical dark denim, and spiced it up a little bit with these fun flats and a felt hat.
Which of these outfits are you most likely to wear to your job!? Thanks so much for reading and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! It’s game day weekend here in LBK so I’ll be tailgating and going to the game tomorrow. Have a fab one! xx
