Dorm Essentials You Need

Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas basedI’m two weeks away from starting my senior year. As excited/nervous as I am… I’ve been sharing all my favorite college essentials this month. Today, I wanted to share some more lifestyle needs that you may not think you need but I promise, they are crucial and y’all will see why if you’re an incoming freshman haha.

One thing I quickly realized when I started college was that you get SICK. Especially in the dorms, it’s crazy how everyone gets sick at once. I was sick every other week I swear. It’s gross but if you think about it, you get thrown into this new experience and life and you have no parents telling you to go to bed or wake up or reminding you to eat your fruits and veggies. When I first came to college, I was like “ohhhhh yeah… not making my bed, I’m going to bed at 3 am, and I’m eating all the wings and chicken fingers I want.” Not my smartest haha because I was constantly in bed with some sort of sickness. Needless to say, I’m sharing some of my essentials with y’all today!Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

Luden’s Throat drops:

Like I said above, you get sick a lot. I really like Luden’s throat drops for the taste and how quickly they soothe your throat. Also, if you’re going through recruitment… expect to lose your voice! I suggest warm water with honey and lemon each night along with one of these throat drops to and you will feel 100x better each morning. Save $1 off 2 bags of Luden’s!Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

Sour Punch Straws:

Yum. I have a really bad sweet tooth all.the.time. I LOVE sour punch straws and their new packaging is really easy to throw in your bag for on the go or to share with friends. They’re also bite-size! Sometimes a little sugar pick-me-up is important to power you through the rest of your day!Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

Throw Blanket:

This one is from Viv & Lou! If you’re in the dorms this year, this one is a must! It’s 100% polyester microfiber and can be personalized. I really adore the fun and bright print because dorms can be absolutely dreary and dull. Brighten it up with a cozy blanket and make your space fun to come home too.Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

Casio watch:

I typically look at the clock on my phone when I need to know the time haha. But, I really like wearing this watch to add a small accessory to my everyday errands and class outfit. It’s classic, timeless, and the perfect accessory. It’s also water resistant so that’s crucial!

Big AZ:

The struggle is REAL when it comes to food in the dorms. Dorm food is decent but you get tired of it real quickly. Not gonna lie, I still miss my meal plan haha. But after 6 months of that food, you become unsure if you can do the rest of the 6 months left of it. I really liked stocking my mini fridge with easy on the go snacks/meals. I would buy fruit I can put into baggies, microwavable meals, and easy sandwiches/biscuits I could heat up each day. Big AZ are sold in convenience stores and give a really fun twist to breakfast biscuits and sandwiches! EZNeeds:

EZneeds is the best to order from. Here’s my last order from them and items that I can’t live without. I really love how they lay everything out on their site and offer lower prices for items than you see in stores. They also have fast 1-3 day shipping for orders over $50.Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

A good read: The princess saves herself in this one

This read is really awesome. It’s a collection of poetry that’s all about resilience and writing your own ending. It’s hard to find time to read in school, but I definitely recommend finding a good read and getting some pages in each morning.Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

Planner: The Posh: Happy Living Planner

A planner is so crucial in college. I constantly have my planner to plan my days by each hour. You will have so much going on between social, school and maybe a job. It’s smart to stay disciplined and plan your days accordingly to get things done. You will thank yourself later!Dorm Essentials with Audrey Madison Stowe a fashion and lifestyle blogger | Texas based

I hope y’all enjoyed this and good luck with college and finding your dorm essentials!  xx
