Welcome back to AMS! ๐ Today I’m sharing a little hair tutorial about how I get bouncy curls. It mostly just depends on the curling wand you’re using but thought I would share exactly how I do mine. I also do frequent little tutorials on IG stories, so make sure you’re following me there too to stay updated.

Starting out with fresh, straight hair, I start with a heat protectant. This is a SERIOUS crucial step in my hair routine so that I don’t damage my hair with heat anymore than I already do. I really like this one.
Next, I split my hair down the middle and go off those two parts. I don’t like to separate the bottom and top half because my hair is so layered that if I do that, I look like a real life poodle haha. I curl back to front and you can see from the next few photos how I do that. I use my Bombay Hairย 25mm curling wand. I love this one because it makes my curls last for DAYS and it’s rose gold ;).
I point the Bombay Hair curling wand down and wrap my hair around. This smaller wand creates really gorgeous bouncy curls that I cannot get enough of lately. Guess what?! Bombay Hair is giving y’all 40% OFF + free shipping on your own wand or anything else with codeย AS40.ย
Lastly, to set it all, I go in with a solid hair spray. I love the Sexy Hair to make my curls hold for days. I love this hairspray because it doesn’t make my hair crunchy or a weird texture. I also love this hairspray too. After spraying, I’ll flip my head over one or two time and brush through some of the curls with my fingers (NOT a brush) to give a tousled, bouncy look. I will also tease the top of my head for a little extra volume ๐ The end result is seriously my favorite!!ย
