If this isn’t the best post ever I don’t know what is… I mean, coffee & donuts!? Sign me up. But really though, this is like my ideal morning. Except scratch the cute outfit and give me a comfy t-shirt, no makeup, and my hair in a bun. A goal for myself to start this summer is to get up early and ACTUALLY have a relaxing morning before work.
Since it’s getting hot out, my drink order goes from a hot coffee to an iced latte or cold brew. Do y’all like cold brew!? It’s SO good and I love the deeper, embodied taste cold brews give off. I LOVE the Keuring Dunkin’ pods and now they have Cold Brew packs for the hotter months! #score. I wanted to share a little info about them for y’all and how I make my coffee.
To start, you get 2 big packets in each box and each pack makes a pitcher. My roomies and I made it in a big pitcher and have had it in the fridge all week.
What you do: you pour about 4 cups of water into a pitcher and put the coffee packs inside and let it steep in the fridge for 8-12 hours. Once it’s steeped, you add 3 more cups of water and take the packs out and voila! You’ve got your cold brew for the week!
From there, I pour a cup over ice and add in a cup of lactose-free milk, 2 pumps of sugar free Vanilla or agave, and then a small scoop of sugar. It tastes so good and like a little at-home cold brew latte. My favorite thing about this is that it can be my coffee for a whole week! You can enjoy it with your girlfriends or man in the comforts of your home. This is such a treat and it is just too easy! Pair with some yummy donuts and you are good to go!
