Hi friends!! Happy Tuesday 🙂 I hope y’all are having one awesome week! I’m so dang excited to share this fun shoot with y’all. It was a blast taking these and they go from so playful to so serious haha. My photographer made me feel like a model even though I am FAR from it. [Read more…]
It’s finally FRIDAY and I’m beyond ready for the weekend. I only had a 3 day work week but I’m still begging for the weekend how does that happen haha!? This is my only free, relaxing weekend in July. Isn’t that crazy!? This weekend is free of school as I just finished Summer 1 and Summer 2 will start Tuesday for me. I will also be traveling the last 3 weekends in July so y’all know I’m going to SLEEP and be lazy while I can this weekend. [Read more…]
My mom is my absolute best friend. She has been there for my whole entire life and is honestly the person I’ve learned all of my beauty and fashion tips from. Growing up, I always wanted to play in my moms bathroom and closet. She had a whole skincare regimen and a closet full of shoes and bags. I thought it was fascinating. Over the years as I started to wash my face on my own, do my hair, pick out my outfits, and wear makeup, my mom has taught me everything I know… (and Youtube.) 😉 [Read more…]
Last night, Josh and I took some photos, went to dinner, and went to this thing in Lubbock called ‘Santa Land.’ Although, it was completely for little kiddos, we still had fun. They had hot cocoa, a ton of little christmas trees, and murals of different children movies. I can’t wait to share the photos we took but I thought I would share my go-to winter look. I love to change up my makeup each season and I’ve changed quite a few products for this winter. So, let’s just get straight to the point shall we!?
The #Mondayblues strike again… I feel pretty much caught up on sleep but definitely sad the weekend is over and a huge, busy week is ahead. My little kitten Coco, goes in for surgery tomorrow and I’m already becoming a huge momma bear and want to cry that she will be away from me all day. Needless to say, lots of cuddles will be happening today as I get back on top of this weeks to-do list. [Read more…]
Oh hey, Monday! What’s better than a little beauty talk!? I recently did a poll over on my twitter and snapchat and asked what y’all wanted to see more of… a huge portion asked for more beauty posts!!! This came to a surprise to me, but I’m so excited because I can literally talk makeup, hair, and skincare ALL day y’all. [Read more…]

Maybelline is by far one of my favorite affordable makeup brands. After I used their products here, I thought I would use some more and talk about how to wear a pale pink lip. You can shop all of the products below here.
After your foundation, concealer, and powder are on…. you can begin the contour routine. I showed mine here if you want to read about it in depth. I bronze, blush, and then highlight some points on my face.
After, I like to add some color to my eyelids. I used the Blushed Nudes palette from Maybelline. This palette has 12 gorgeous rose gold and blush toned colors to choose from. I love the purples and the green color for under my eyes.
This Maybelline gel eyeliner is so smooth, and easy to use. I got the color eggplant which is a deep purple. I love purples and greens because they bring the green tones out in my eyes. I use tape as a trick to get that flawless and neat line.
I then applied the Falsies Push Up Drama mascara. This mascara has a brush that scoops and lifts eyelashes, creating that ‘false lash’ look. It’s full of creamy product that gives your lashes the full dark effect, lifting and putting them in their place.
Now, we add the lip color. The lip color I used is in Petal Pink. It’s a very pale, bright pink color. You can pull off a pink lip color with one trick. BRONZER. Sculpting your cheekbones, and bronzing your skin really help any skin tone to pull off a pale pink lip. These lipsticks are so creamy and smooth thanks to nourishing honey nectar. The Maybelline Color Sensational LipColor has a variety of stunning lipstick shades, so go find the perfect pink for you.
What’s your favorite lip color to wear!?
P.S. (can you spot my friends in the background of these photos!?) haha thank the lord for friends who will take pictures for you when your photographer cancels. xo
Also, you can buy these products in Walmart, in the cosmetics section.
Happy hump day y’all!
I’m back with another beauty post 🙂
This has been my go-to work and school look. It’s simple, and really natural looking.
I was able to try out some Younique products and let me just say, I was shocked!
My mom used to sell Arbonne, and I knew people that sold Mary Kay. After being a huge sephora addict, I never believed in those products sold from home through independent companies. My cousin sells Younique and wanted me to try a few products, and I was shocked… SHOCKED at the quality.
After I applied my normal foundation, blush, and bronzer…. we get into the fun stuff.
The brow products I used were the Younique Moodstruck Precision Brow pencil as well as the gel. The pencil is amazing, and the color matched me perfectly. It is SUPER comparable to the Anastasia Brow Wiz, and I live and breathe her brow products, so to see another one that is very similar was a very happy moment haha.
This Addiction Shadow Palette makes me so happy. I’m a neutral shadow kind of girl. This one is extremely portable, light, and has the perfect neutral shades to choose from. If I have the time to do my eye shadow in the morning, I love to use every.single.shade. seriously!! I start with the second and third one, and put them all over my lid. I then go down the line of each of the brown shades and blend them into my crease, starting with a fluffy brush and then a more concise one to define my crease. After, I like to add the first cream colored shade on my brow bone, then take the deep brown across my lower lash line. It creates such a beautiful soft look, perfect for every day.
So eyes? check. We still need our lashes though! And I have a NEW favorite. I used to swear by the Chanel Le Volume Mascara… which is $80 (so crazy… but I still buy it lol) and then I was introduced to the Younique 3D Fiber Lashes. Literally… omg.. throw those fake lashes away ladies, you don’t need them anymore. The concept is super cool and leaves you with a stunning result.
You start with the gel, apply a few coats of that, then top that with the fibers. The fibers define and add thickness and volume to your lashes. Apply another coat of the gel on top of the fibers, again to secure them. I do this on both top and bottom lashes! My lashes literally touch my eyebrows. I love it so much! Every time I do a dramatic makeup look I always grab my Younique 3D Fiber Lashes.
The only downside to these lashes, is the fiber fall out. When I’m applying, a lot usually fall onto my cheeks. But your powder brush saves the day! Just sweep it across your face and they’re gone, thank goodness!
For this look, I decided to add a bright lip. That’s the look! I hope y’all enjoyed and will take a look into Younique. You can access the products through my cousins website here
Here are some of the products I used:
Talk to y’all Friday!
