Happy Friday loves!
I’ve been a little MIA on the blog this week…. I’ve been moving all of my stuff home and getting situated back into the work grind so I’ve taken the last week to focus on myself. But that’s out of the way now and I’ll be posting more than ever on the blog this summer. I’m headed to NYC tomorrow with my best friend so tonight will consist of last minute packing and chatting on the phone with her about weekend plans. I’ll be posting daily over on my Instagram and Snapchat so add me on both because you don’t want to miss out on our fun adventures. Snapchat name: amsblog.
NYC is so dreamy to me, I plan on moving there in two years once I graduate college. I seriously dream of the day I can walk outside of my apartment and take the subway to central park or fifth avenue and just stroll down the city with my French Bulldog. (Can you tell I daydream and plan my future a little too much?) haha. Something about New York just screams that you can make all dreams happen. I know it’s hard in that city, and it can be lonely and cut throat, but put your mind to something, go for it and you might make it there 😉 Speaking of dreamy, this skirt. It’s stunning. The best part? It’s under $30 and it feels like a $100 skirt with its silky fabric. This was my first time trying out a midi skirt on my body type and I fell in love. I got to twirl around all day in it and I felt like such a little girl going to a broadway show or something. I kept the feminine look going with a light lacy top and the cutest gold buckle block heels. I wanted to bring this exact look to NYC with me this weekend but unfortunately it’s going to be a bit chilly for us there 🙁 I think midi skirts are so girly and fit most body types. Short girls, these skirts may not compliment your length as they tend to cut off your legs and make you look shorter, but for my tall babes, go get you a midi skirt ASAP. I would size up in this exact skirt if you get it, it runs a little small in the waist.
Who doesn’t love a super feminine and dreamy clothing article every once in awhile?
Thanks for stopping by today, remember to follow me on social media for some major NYC fun.
