Happy Wednesday friends! I didn’t get to re-cap my weekend with yesterday’s blog post but I had the best weekend ever at home with my family. Josh and I spent each day with my parents and siblings, enjoying Dallas. The weather was perfect and it was just the best weekend all together. I’m so thankful to have such loving and supportive parents I can go home too.
This Saturday is an away game but I always get so excited when games are in Lubbock. I love game days because it’s just a special day you can dress up, enjoy good friends and the sport of football. I usually dress in all black but I recently went to Sarahbelle’s boutique and grabbed some cute new game day wear. For girls in Lubbock, and even if you don’t live in Lubbock, go check out Sarahbelle’s on Instagram and check out their new items. If you’re able to go in the store, you can show my Instagram picture featuring their clothes to the register and that you follow them, and they will give you 15% off your order!
If you live in a different college town, check out your local boutiques for your own colors and game day wear! College tailgating and game days are a blast and something I look forward to each week. I know at some schools it is popular to wear just t-shirts but in the south we love to dress up! Since our colors are black and red and I usually opt for black, It’s so easy to go for more of an edgy style. This plaid top was one of my favorites because of the frayed bottom. And the lace up black shorts were a must because they transition so well for bar nights or nights out with friends this fall.
I hope this gave y’all a little bit of ‘game day’ inspo’ and I hope y’all have a fabulous week! xx

Such a cute plaid dress! I love that it’s so versatile and you can wear it with shorts. I bet it would look super cute with jean cut offs!

Love the outfit! Super cute 🙂 For game days I’m usually wearing a hat and something blue (I’m a blue jays fan!)

I love your dress and how versatile it is! I wouldn’t have even thought about styling it as a shirt. I love you choker too! Those are my favorite right now.
