Hi friends! Today I wanted to share the two smoothies I drink just about every day. I’ve shared both to stories but wanted to add to the blog since it’s easier to search here.
I’m usually a big smoothie girl from Spring to early Fall and ever since becoming pregnant, smoothies have been delicious and filling throughout each trimester so far. I have my protein smoothie I love to drink for days I need extra protein or maybe hungry again and don’t want to make something. And then I have a delicious fruit smoothie that has been on repeat throughout hot days.
Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie-
- Half a frozen ripe banana
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Ritual’s prenatal protein… code 20AUDREY for a discount)
- 2 pitted dates
- Handful of cacao nibs
- 8-12 oz coconut water
- 2 tbs cinnamon (forgot to add when I shared on stories)
That smoothie is absolutely delicious. Usually takes care of my sweet tooth too and fills me up when I’m hungry again. The dates taste like caramel bits and the cacao nibs taste like chocolate chips…. seriously yum!
Healthy Fruit Smoothie-
Ingredients: Measurements all vary!
- Frozen banana
- Frozen avocado
- Yogurt of choice (I prefer Trader Joes honey yogurt in this)
- Coconut water
THE go-to fruit smoothie. The yogurt and frozen avocado make this so creamy. A must try!
