What I Eat in A Day

I’m not currently on any type of diet and I’m also not excluding anything from my diet. In the past I’ve tried FWTFL, keto, cutting out dairy and gluten etc. Right now, I’m just eating and listening to my body to see what it wants/craves.

I really try to eat pretty low-carb and healthy Monday-Friday. On the weekends, it’s free game lol. I have a super sweet tooth though and don’t go to bed without some sort of chocolate or something sweet. While my day-to-day eating looks different, here a glimpse into what I eat!

Breakfast:

My typical breakfast! Trader joe’s honey yogurt with fruit. Here, I have strawberries and apricots. Sometimes I’ll do an english muffin with fruit or this. I also always have my latte and a big cup of ice water.

Lunch:

Lunch varies daily but I always gravitate towards whatever is EASY. Sometimes it’s a frozen trader joe’s meal and sometimes I prep/wash veggies so I can make salads for the week. Last week I made a bunch of arugula salads and a side of fiber crispbread with smashed avocado and black sesame seeds.

Snack:

Afternoon snack is always a protein shake! Fills me up and is delicious. This is the brand of shakes I buy and they’re filled with 24 grams of high quality protein, lots of amino acids, fiber for digestion, healthy fats, and 23 vitamins/minerals your body needs. The birthday cake flavor is sweetened with stevia and has sprinkles made from purple sweet potato, red radish, and spirulina.

Dinner:

Dinner is the meal I eat with my husband so we are always cooking together and trying to switch it up. However, we do have frequent healthy meals we eat weekly and here’s our favorite:

  • Ground turkey tacos
  • Stir fry veggies (zucchini, squash, and brown rice)
  • Turkey burgers on salad
  • Spicy chicken salad (Just spicy chicken on salad with toppings)

Dessert:

Every single night I always have dessert! It’s something I will NOT compromise giving up lol. I often try to have “dessert” quickly after dinner and as early as possible…. preferably 2 hours before I go to bed so my body has time to digest it before I sleep. I always have whatever sweets I want with a tea! I either drink tulsi, spearmint, or chamomile tea. The typical sweets I eat:

  • Chocolate ice cream with banana
  • Dark Chocolate bar (Alter Eco is my fave)
  • Fruit with chocolate syrup
